2. I am taking this class to fullfill a GE requirement, and because I don't know much about humanities and would like to learn more.
3. I live 5.3 miles from the Santa Rosa Junior College campus.
4. I hope to learn from this class about the many ways different cultures express themselves through music, art, dance, etc.

Yes, my mom is an instructor at the SRJC, and I asked her if she recognized the last name. She did, and she hopes he is doing well. She said to say, "Hello."
Super that you and Joseph have 1 degree of separation! I want students to interact with each other via assignments and via blog comments that are not assignments. This is your home and this is a great example of this interaction. Welcome aboard. PS what does google.com maps say in terms of how far you live from campus (plug in both addresses; you'll get a specific number; we'll need this tool later)
